Inspired by the Greek goddess Hekate, torch bearer and ruler over crossroads who led Persephone out of the underworld, our work is all about making life’s mundane, difficult, and in-between seasons a little more bearable and a lot more magickal.
Founded in a kitchen amidst the chaos of 2020, each of our luxury candles is imbued with healing properties to hold you through the seasons of life alongside Sprit—whether you’re in the striving or summer, the bareness of winter, or somewhere in-between.
HOW EXACTLY?Understanding the Wheel of the Year
Our ancestors knew in order to experience inner harmony, we must live in outer harmony with the world around us. Their calendar, The Wheel of the Year, commemorates eight festivals, from Imbolc to Yule, each denoting a shift in the natural world.
Similarly, we each have a Personal Wheel of the Year that honors the various seasons in our lives, from personal transitions to birth to loss and more.
Liminal Weaver ritual candles are designed to help you reclaim the rhythms we’ve lost in our modern lives, and spend sacred time in the in-between spaces that teach us something about ourselves.

Ritual: Get comfortable with your pillow and blanket(s). As you smell your candle, envision yourself on a mountain. Make your way under the moonlight to its peak.
Sit under the stars and moon and take some time to reflect on the past year. Reflect on all it brought into your life, how it’s shaped who you are in this moment without judgment or story.
When this feels complete, consider again the moon. She encourages us to reflect on our past and dream our future. Call on her to receive any wisdom she might hold for you. When it feels complete, take time to just be and rest.

MEET THE FOUNDERI’m Ashley, spiritual threshold tender, grief walker, and candle creatrix.
Whether stirring the candle cauldron, holding mystical grief circles, or guiding your seasonal reunion with the Wheel of the Year, I’m an expert at holding up a lantern for you as you journey through life’s seasons.
My own journey took a dramatic turn when I stopped climbing the corporate ladder long enough to realize my soul felt stifled. After quitting my job to earn my Masters in therapy (despite discouragement from most of my peers!), I built a successful business as a licensed therapist focusing on grief and loss. Still, the seeker in me longed to go deeper.
I created Liminal Weaver as the space I needed but couldn’t find: A space where the tension of the in-between is witnessed and celebrated, not downplayed or bypassed.
My unique background as a mystic and licensed therapist empowers me to hold space for people to safely explore alternative beliefs and spiritual expression.

Our recommended burn time is 4 hours. Be sure to trim the wick between 1/8” to 1/4” before each lighting. Wood wicks burn best at a lower wick. First burn is recommended at 4 hours to allow the candle to burn evenly. Be sure to never leave a candle unattended or in reach of children, pets, or draft. Allow jar to cool completely before handling.

This wax is all-natural, rich and creamy, with an off-white blend of Coconut and Apricot wax and a small amount of FDA food-grade paraffin wax. It has a glossy-like appearance that is more natural and more luxurious. This high-end wax is gluten, toxin, paraben, and phthalate-free and made from renewable sources.

All our fragrances are phthalate-free. Phthalates are used to dissolve raw materials in apothecary goods, medicine, and fragrances. There is evidence linking high levels of phthalates to health issues, especially in children. While there are no regulations against phthalate use in candles, we decided not to work with fragrances with phthalates in them.

We like that our candles are not overwhelming, but rather can be used every day for a subtle aroma. We find that our candles fill a medium-size room nicely. For larger rooms with high ceilings, we recommend our 10oz candle. For open floor plans, we recommend 2 or more 7oz candles. Because we use natural coconut apricot wax our candles do not have the same scent throw as paraffin candles.
